Hi to our parents and community

We are right into this busy term and things certainly look extremely busy from now to the end of the year.

Our pool is being filled at present and hopefully will be ready for swimming in the next few weeks. The children keep pestering me about this and obviously think it is hot enough to go swimming. We will be looking at this in the near future but at present it is too cold anyway – but soon let’s hope.

School Trip

Our trip for this year is to the Tongariro National Trout Centre. We will leave the school at 9.00 am.

Can you give an indication as to whether or not you wish to be part of this day and whether or not you can transport your child or children? We will be giving permission slips out closer to the date.

We need as many adults as possible for this trip as we are near and in water. Also, it would be wonderful to have your company on this trip.

Sunsmart

The children need to have a hat at school as we have had the “odd” sunny day. The hats need to be wide brimmed and all children must wear hats when outside. If they do not have a hat to wear from home they will wear a school hat if they wish to be outside.

Pet Day

The children need to be at Kirikau School by 10.00 am with their pets and unusual flower arrangements. I will ensure that the school work is delivered safely to Kirikau School. There will be no bus this day.
